Chapter 3 is late: sorry, all...but I'm getting caught up

I spent the weekend dealing with not only the flared-up ear infection, but also an incipient eye infection. Fortunately the drugs are now taking hold, and I should be able to get the chapter up tomorrow. My apologies.

Thanks for the status report, but being ill needs no apology. I would rather make sure that you are well and recovered and have to wait a bit than have you suffer just to get it out a couple of days earlier. Take care of yourself and get well, please...

Strangely, the eye infection may have been further complicated by a strawberry allergy. (eyeroll)(ouch) We're going to have to test this theory further later on, after the infection's cleared up.
