First, and more significant, why does Dairine mention "a few thousand degrees K" in reference to the training sun? Unless she's using a Wellakhit scale that happens to abbreviate as K, shouldn't that be "a few thousand Kelvins", or perhaps "a few kK"?
Second, what did happen in 1652? I want to know the story of the Romanian vampires.
