Why not? Clocks are that accurate now, so if we're going to pretend that they're related to the real world they have to be adjusted occasionally. A second every couple of years is probably the best compromise between a fraction of a second every year and letting it build up to a minute or so over a century.

Personally, I have radio controlled clocks in two rooms, get my PC's time from atomic clocks, and don't worry about resetting my watch if it's right to ten seconsd or so.

I'm definitely in favour.

What I'd prefer to abolish is the vastly more inconvenient Summer Time.
