Only in one direction though.

I wonder who thought one day, let's see what happens when we give viagra to jetlagged hamsters?

Nah, it wasn't that way round at all.

It was when they started airfreighting horny hamsters that they noticed the little beggars seemed to be able to stay up. So to speak.

(Don't ask why they need to airfreight hamsters. Or why they were Viagra dosed. You really don't want to know. Just be aware that our Lizard Masters like their nibbles.)

I'm pretty sure I got a spam entitled "viagra hamster jetlag" at work a few months ago.

I wonder if spamomancy has been tested as an oracle?

I *knew* I wouldn't be the only one to notice the spamlike nature of that headline...

But when they find they're not really in Paris won't they need Zoloft? Poor hamsters...

Of course, if your hamster's jet lag lasts more than 4 hours, you should consult your veterinarian.

1. I wonder what this will do to the popularity of the Mile High Club.

2. I, for one, welcome our new horny globetrotting hamster overlords.

It's officially nominated for an Ig Nobel (http://improbable.com/ig/) now. I had to. :)

That's a relief. I've been worried about my hamsters not being at their best for that 9 a.m. meeting in London after taking the red eye out of LA.

I found your journal via the find-a-friend Meme, and now I seem to be helpless with laughter.

(So I have added you as a friend - before I actually realised that you also one of my favourite authors! As far as I know I have all those of your books that are available in the UK.)
