Like the new word for July 21, 2007:  Potterdämmerung.

(Edit: and now I see that I'm shortsighted as well as nearsighted. The usage goes back to at least 2005: behold the earliest incidence I can find, by the original coiner [or friend of the coiner], dragonscholar.)

Heh, yeah--I asked on fandom_lounge, and dragonscholar himself showed up and said that it was either him or the person he was talking to (offline?) at the time, which is close enough for me. I'd love to have been the person who coined the word, but c'est la vie.

No problem! I use the word often enough that I wouldn't blame people for thinking I *did* come up with it.
