Date: 2006-07-14 08:16 am (UTC)The first Bengal we met was ten yars ago, when at a wedding in Memphis (the one beyond the Atlantic, not the one beyond the Mediterranean). Back then, they were rare, expensive, and prone to behavioural problems. I'm very glad that the breeders have made a better breed since them.
There's a breeder up in Co. Armagh. Guyus Bengals

Date: 2006-07-15 05:33 pm (UTC)The one I have is a total lovebug. She is happiest laying on my lap, or running at top speed around the house, or teaching our other cat how to open cupboards. At 6 yrs old she still acts very kittenish. She is very intelligent and bonded to me. She does get her nose out of joint if we don't give her enough attention though, her name should have been 'Princess.' But we love her lots.
