In response to something another panelist at the "Anthropoly" game at Anthrocon did, Peter slapped himself in the forehead and rocked back in his chair...

...a little too far.

A quick-witted photographer in the audience has captured the magic moment for us. :) A larger version of the photo can be seen here.


(BTW, Peter's fine: didn't get so much as a bruise.)

I decided at 14 that my role in life was comic relief. Thus moments like the one where I fell down a very short flight of stairs because I was reading too hard, then got up, dusted off, and kept right on walking and reading, became commonplace...

Living like that is more fun than acting all boring.

You know, as someone who was sitting at that table at the time (the bald guy two chairs left of the legs), I have to say he rolled with the fall so well that we all thought he did the whole thing on purpose!

I'm glad he didn't get hurt, but that has to be the picture of the convention there.
