Thank you. I tried downloading the free book and when I log into paypal it is insisting that I link my account to a credit card and won't let me proceed further. My account is linked to my directly to me bank account, and I'd rather not change that. Is there any other way to do this? I know I've bought books from your site using discount codes in the past without a problem but I can't get it to work this time.

Unfortunately I'm not sure how to handle this... probably you should contact PayPal directly about it. Sorry I can't be of more help!

After thinking about it for a while, I figured out that I could do it by not logging in to Paypal at all and just giving them my credit card info without connecting it to my Paypal account. I found it really odd that they insisted that you required credit card payment rather than bank account payment considering that Paypal charges some sellers extra money when people use credit cards.
