For those inquiring about the new Transcendent Pig items in the YW.com CafePress store: the T-shirt will be ready in a day or so. (The basic design is here.) The "Got Pig" mug is there already, but I may do another design or two.

All praise to Ursula Vernon (a.k.a. ursulav) whose work this is! (And yes, of course she gets a cut of the profits. A significant one.)

I'd rather like a 'got pig' mug for my collection. And the littlest wizard in our household has grown out of her shirt.

BTW, you can ignore this comment if you aren't married to me...

What, after all those books we're buying?

DD, any chance of getting Chao on a shirt or a mug with a direct quote? I don't have any of the books with me at work (whyever not?) but I see one on ErrantryWiki that would make a nice shirt:

"Am there, doing that, inventing the T-shirt"

Strangely (or not so strangely), I was thinking about this. Easy enough to do, once I've got the art masked correctly.

BTW, you may want to note that there are a couple more of the hardcovers up for auction...

Damn you, Diane Duane! A Transcendent Pig mug is a must-have item! Thank God it's payday. *g*

Aren't there some Celtic incidences of the T.P., as well as Chinese ones? Or am I mixing him up with Hen Wen, the Oracular Pig?

(grin) Absolutely -- though the TP's official stance is that he started the "oracular pig" thing. I believe there was also a (non-lethal) oracular strain in Latin/Etruscan ancient culture. (Meaning that the oracularity didn't involve the pig's guts being hauled out for a good look.)

Oh, that Transcendental Pig is too cute, it needs to sit right next to the ‘Coffee First, Wizardry Later’ mug. So when are we going to see Gelert or Ponch mugs? I can just see it: Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy – dog biscuits ‘n coffee! Or perhaps a few of the gating cats mugs for the feline crowd: I can’t go save the world till I’ve had my coffee! Obviously I’ve had *way* too much coffee at this point.
