BARTLET: I didn't even think there were that many white women.

OBAMA: I see the numbers, sir. What do they want from me?

BARTLET: I’ve been married to a white woman for 40 years and I still don’t know what she wants from me.

OBAMA: How did you do it?

BARTLET: Well, I say I’m sorry a lot.

OBAMA: I don't mean your marriage, sir....

My dad's been bugging me to go register to vote 'whichever way I want'... which translates to 'we won't disown you or criticize you to your face.' In desperate moments, the frustration has driven me to think about registering and voting Republican just to please him and then switching after I move out.

This is one of the things that'll help me say no, I think.

I have a question. You used to have a little program on your website for generating random words in made-up languages where you set phonological probabilities. I can't find it on dianeduane.com. Is it still around? Or outdated? Someone was posting on _fantasynovel asking for help with finishing their made-up language & it sounded like that was exactly what they needed.

I'm sure I have my original version here somewhere buried in one of the drives. However, if I'm not mistaken, a fannish buddy ported it to C, I think it was, I might be wrong -- half a sec.
