Catwoman-drawing memes don't do anything in particular for me. But now there's a Green Lantern-drawing meme going around. That's a whole 'nother story.

...And so is this one. I can't find my copy of the comic it appeared in: it's been lost after many moves. But I stumbled across the original file the other day.

In honor of the meme, therefore (since I can't draw):

"Social Occasion"

Thank you, Diane.

I'll be back in a bit to follow up...

Oh, wow! I just love Cario. But, uh, on page 7, panel 3, I thought Cario was saying he'd tell Arisia his own private oath, if she shared hers. At least, that's how I interpreted the "ownOath" bit. Did I get that wrong, or did I just miss him telling her?

Do you happen to remember which volume this appeared in? I'm not a comics guy, but maybe I can get the local shopkeeper to track it down for me.

Re Cario: I think he meant he wanted to hear hers: not necessarily the other way around.

As for the comic in question: if I remember correctly, it was in the back of a GL issue, not one of the Corps books. But wow, this was a long time ago. It was just before the Very First "Crisis," as I remember.

Very nifty, the Social Occasion pdf.

Not being aware of how comics were created, reading that made comprehension click into place. Fascinating, and thanks!
