One kind of candy bar that came and went in a hurry was the P.B. Max. It was a hard cookie shell filled with peanut butter and cookie pellets, and dipped in chocolate. And it was real peanut butter, the kind you would get out of a jar—not the sickly-sweet peanut filling from Reese's cups and other alleged peanut butter concoctions.
Naturally, it was around for about a month, and then vanished.
