And a proximity sensor, so that it can shut off the touchscreen (and the display!) when you hold it up to your face.

Ah, very clever. That's a bit of a pain on the Sony Ericsson P900.
Apple do very well by throwing huge amounts of design, and I applaud them for it. Heck, they've almost convinced me to go for a Mac!
(It's the educational discount I can get from Dell compared to the lack of one from Apple that is deciding this upgrade cycle.)
