Sorry you're having to deal with that. It does not sound remotely fun. If it were tomorrow (my payday), I would be throwing my money at you left and right to get stuff at Ebooks Direct but alas, I shall have to wait for the next sale. I am definitely looking forward to reading the NME versions to see what's changed and what's been added.
