The ElectriClerk was built as a prop for "a game of 'Cthulhu Lives' that has yet to be played".  The builder took the guts of a 1988-vintage Mac and mounted them inside a 1923 Underwood typewriter. I particularly admire the trackba and number pad.

The maker's page also has the promotional literature he designed to go along with the "product".

Amazing stuff...

That's impressive, in so many ways. The mountings for the components, from the magnifying screen, to the CTR amazingly blend into the whole 1923 look of the typewriter. The blending work with the model paints and putty is undetectable in those pictures.

The only thing that bothers me, greatly, is the exposed CRT. I know what kinds of voltages those will hold onto and would hate to think of someone accidently brushing into that. *Shudder*

I'd say something about the amount of time and expense and effort he spends on a game, but I can't talk -- I've been in the SCA for 34 years. I'm amazed, not just at the Electric-Clerk (finally -- a Mac with some style), but even the paper documents they have available for download for the game.
