And just before I take the flu medicine that will knock me on my butt....
(It's this stuff, BTW. You can only get it in Switzerland and Canada [but the Canadian stuff isn't as strong as the Swiss]. It's worth the trip. It does the job.)

I'm also bemused by the fact that this strike has fans. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

I never realised that Neo Citran was not available in other countries
If you need more than you have in stock (and I imagine the trip here is not one you are in the mood for right now)I can send you some if you'll drop off a "sent to" at my lj email. CH to IR should only take a couple of days by airmail.

I'm generally unsympathetic to the idea of unions, but I'm quite sympathetic to the goals of this strike, which is more important (specifics trumping generalities; in general). I do think the writers are undervalued, and setting things up so they get *nothing* from legal downloads is crazy, at the level of being not sustainable. And this sort of situation is one of the best arguments *for* unions being needed.
Film accounting and money-splitting is one of the weirdest areas of accounting anyway. Some sort of major clean-up would be in order, but I suspect the actual environment is so complex that mandated simplifications would turn out to misrepresent the real world badly. Sigh.

It's like they responded to the pseudoephedrine thing by making the shiniest box.
But the Swiss have the old-school packet, and that *rocks*.
