It's Jerry Springer syndrome. She went from a barely known pundit to the object of horrified conversation. The more of that shit she spouts, the more outraged and yes, entertained, some people are, the more she gets invited to appear because she's so 'controversial,' the more books she'll sell because some people just can't believe she actually says those things.
