That behavior looks awfully familiar . . . . my youngest cat likes to sit on top of the monitor and hang, Snoopy-vulture-like, over the front edge to chase anything that happens to be moving on the screen.

My older cat sleeps on my laptop because it's warm. I constantly have to clean cat hair out of the keyboard.

My cat used to do that with the tv.. she used to love the xbox Tetris game because it had little flying things at either side of the screen.
The bottom two inches of screen that she could reach remained dust-free for a couple years.
